I am already finding in EDC3100 the efficiency of using ICT when using Feedly. I am still coming to grips with the purpose and use of Diigo. Admittedly this is a direct result of not sitting down and taking the time to explore and play with Diigo. I can see and feel why people may be resistant to changes that include ICT, for example in the workplace. It is something that takes time initially… time that always seems to be in short supply. However, once confidence in using a new ICT is achieved it can have immense benefits in efficiency as Paulette points out in her blog about the incorporation of using iPads for learning stories in an early childhood setting http://designingearlychildhoodeducationau.blogspot.com.au/2013/04/ipad-for-documentation-in-early.html
In such a short time EDC3100 has introduced a number of digital technologies I had no idea existed and it makes me wonder what else is out there that could help me through the rest of my studies and throughout my career. I am going to be vigilantly seeking out more digital tools to add to my toolbox.
